Hello lovies!! I hope you have all had a fabulous week, Friday is finally upon us & I'm so ready to kick off this labour day weekend! Geoffrey is home so that means I will get to spend the weekend with him. We are going out with a friends tonight, going to another friend's cottage tomorrow night and then on Sunday we are moving my not-so-little brother for his first year of College!

Here's yesterday's OOTD! The weather was fairly nice so we went downtown for a walk and to check out a couple stores. I didn't wear a coat and as the day progressed it got really chilly. I am kind of toying with the idea of going back to being a brunette, I'm really not sure though - I love my red, it's just soo much upkeep. You can see photos here of when I was a brunette.

What do you think; should I keep the red or go back to brown?

are what I am baking for our bake sale at work tomorrow .. will try to post photo's in my next post and a link to the recipe - they are delish!  On another note, it seems like I have been apologizing a lot lately for a lack of posts. I don't have any good excuses other then life .. things are so busy right now but I have lot's of new posts planned including photos from my trip to Vancouver last month which was ah-mazing!! I hope everyone is having a great week!!

These are some photos taken on Saturday - we went to Toronto to do some shopping at the Yorkdale Mall which is one of my favourite malls. I got an invitation for the Aritzia private pre-sale event so I knew that I definitely wanted to check that out plus it was a good reason to make the 2 ½ hour drive to do some shopping. Aritzia is a Canadian stored that has slowly been setting up shop in some US locations, they carry brands like Marc by Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone, Rock & Republic, Acne, J Brand, Mink Pink, Winter Kate, etc. As well as in-house brands Wilfred, Wilfred Le Fou, Wilfred Free, TNA, T. Babaton, etc. When you got into the store you let them know you were invited and showed them your invitation then they give you a card with all the sales listed. The top half was categorized by percentage discount then listed by brand; it went from 20% - 40% off. The bottom half listed the pre-sale items by brand, original price, sale price and item name; at the back of the store there was a sample rack of all the pre-sale items. It was a great sale and I found some really nice pieces. I have been searching for a nice dress that I could wear to dinner dates, weddings, etc. that was not cotton and luckily I found one which also happened to be my best deal of the day. It’s a pink 100% silk Wilfred tiered dress that was retail $198 but was marked down to $99, I had actually seen this dress before and really liked it but I just didn’t want to pay $198 for it. I also got another pair of Wilfred trousers that are actually the same ones as the olive green trousers in the post below except a deep blue colour. I loved the green ones so much I knew that I wanted to get another pair, the fabric is so comfortable.

The day was full of my favourite things: shopping (of course), Aritzia, Yorkdale & Milestones – were we went for lunch! They have the best bellini’s there, I’m not usually into those sugary alcohol drinks but I love a good bellini. I got the lunch trio which included a grilled portobello mushroom ciabatta sandwich, roasted red pepper & tomato bisque and a watermelon & roasted beet salad. The soup and salad were delish, the sandwich was just okay.
