These pictures were taken yesterday. I wanted to do a post earlier this week but the photos we took didn't turn out. I had thought it was light enough out but it turned out that it wasn't and the pictures were way too dark! This weekend went by so quick, I can't believe it; back to work tomorrow! It was pretty good though, I picked up a nail polish that I have been looking for, For Audrey by China Glaze and we went to my parents house for dinner tonight which is usual on a Sunday night. This outfit was pretty low key. This is actually the same tee but gray as the one in the previous post and I saw these heels at Winners back in the summer and thought they were pretty cute, I like the shape they give. You will start to notice that tights are a major staple in my wardrobe and I wear them a lot; tna tights are my probably my favourite. Also, I tried to curl my hair with my straightener which didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I would love to hear how you do it or any tips?

We took these photos on Sunday afternoon at our place. It was a pretty laid back weekend. Just relaxed and rented The Dark Knight on Saturday night because I love Heath Ledger as the Joker. I went to Winners too and found some good stuff; Seche Vite topcoat, 3 pack of Nicole Miller tights (2 black, 1 blue) and Versace Versus Time for Pleasure EDT (a HG for me). Also bought Entourage Season 1 on DVD over the weekend so I wanna watch that soon, even though I have already seen that season. 

As for the outfit, this is the first time I have worn this blazer. It's been hanging in my closet since last summer. The tee is from Loblaws .. so comfy, I bought it in gray too!

Thanksgiving in the country

This past weekend I celebrated Thanksgiving with my family, it was a 3 day weekend which
was nice. On Saturday we took the ferry to a close by touristy town. First stop was the apple orchard to get some apples for homemade apple pie and apple crisp. We also picked up some butrcup, butternut and acorn squash as well as fresh cabbage and of course pumpkins! Next stop was the local winery, it's so pretty there. We usually go at least once a year. Last but not least we went to the cheese factory. They have so many different types of cheese there. We picked up an 8 yr old cheddar, white cheddar curd, dill mozzarella (my favourite) and maple cheddar ... and some homemade butter tarts and maple fudge, YUM! Hope all my fellow Canadians had a great Thanksgiving!
